The unified funeral service is set for March 9 at RCCG, Lion of Judah Parish, Isiokpo, culminating in a private interment. The funeral will conclude with an outing service at RCCG, Lion of Judah Parish, Isiokpo on March 10.
Dr. Herbert Wigwe had already erected an impressive private mausoleum for his eventual resting place. Situated within the expansive confines of the university environment, the tomb stands as a testament to his towering stature.
A pathway crafted from stamped concrete, bordered by verdant foliage, leads one to the tranquil final resting site of the Wigwe family. As reported by Saturday Vanguard, three tombs have been painstakingly constructed, adorned with cutting-edge Italian Carara marble and finished with imported granite galaxy.
The phrase “Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength” is gracefully embossed in the upper corner of the mausoleum, offering solace to visitors. The transparent design of this private burial ground conveys a profound message—Dr. Herbert Wigwe was not only affluent in life, but his grandeur extends even in death.
