Killaboi, a well-known Nigerian bettor in a relationship with social media influencer Augusta Osedion (Austa XXO), has openly admitted to the tragic killing of his girlfriend, citing pain, betrayal, and infidelity as the driving factors. The details of this distressing revelation follow below.
Killaboi, recognized by the online moniker Killaboigram, is a young Nigerian millionaire bettor who has garnered a lavish lifestyle despite being just 26 years old.
Austa XXO, whose real name is Onuwabhagbe Augusta Osedion, is a renowned model and Instagram influencer boasting a substantial following of over 100K on the popular Meta photo-sharing platform.
Their relationship was deeply entrenched, lasting over three years. It is alleged that this wealthy young man significantly supported the girl’s opulent way of life.
Austa XXO had reportedly been missing for several days before her mother visited Killaboi’s residence at Oral Estate in the Ikota area of Lagos state in search of her. This visit came after attempts by Augusta’s mother to reconcile the couple over an ongoing issue.
On July 17, 2023, the bettor took to his Instagram page to confess to the murder, stating that he “accidentally” stabbed her during a heated argument.
In a series of messages disclosing his guilt, Killaboi unveiled the motives behind the homicide as “pain, betrayal, and cheating,” emphasizing that these feelings led to his fatal actions against his girlfriend of three years.
He expressed, “I’ve achieved so much at 26 but ‘a woman ended me’.”
Overwhelmed with remorse and acknowledging the gravity of his actions, Killaboi shed tears over ruining his life at such a young age in Instastory posts. He pledged to ensure that his late girlfriend receives justice, unable to cope with the burden of guilt. He confessed to fleeing after the incident out of fear, also sharing a message he sent to Augusta’s grieving mother.
Eyewitnesses have recounted that the police, gaining access to his apartment, found the girlfriend’s lifeless body severely mutilated. Shockingly, vital organs were reported missing. Augusta’s car was also discovered at the scene.
Before this horrifying murder case, Killaboi had a prior brush with the law when he was arrested by EFCC operatives in 2021 for conducting a fraudulent N150 million POS transaction using a stolen card. He was located and apprehended in a Umuahia hotel, unable to escape at that time.
