“The shooting and killing of Barr. Mark Ofikwu is a big tragedy that is deeply saddening and highly depressing. Mark was my roommate and senior in the university. What is happening in Benue State, and Otukpo in particular, is difficult to comprehend. I call on all branches of the NBA in Benue State to move the police to fish out his killers immediately. I am highly emotional about this.”
John Ochoche Oyishoma said:
“Barr. Mark Ofikwu, it’s too hard to believe that you are gone. Working with you for close to three years was an experience I will live to remember. I learned from you that the best investment is the one made in your children. Today, you have left the family that was so precious to you. My heart bleeds as I wish your death was a dream. What about your children, especially the one you fondly called Ebo? What of your precious wife? My heart bleeds. May you find rest in the bosom of God Almighty, and may those who took your life see God’s judgment early enough.”
Mark Ameh shared:
“Your enemies will have no peace, even down to their generation. Barrister, you were a brave and strong man—a gallant and promising lawyer. RIP Barr. Mark Ofikwu.”
Emmanuel Stephen added:
“REST IN PEACE. Barr. Mark Ofikwu’s tragic loss reminds us of the profound impact one life can have in advocating for the rights of others, leaving behind a testament to the power of compassion and resilience.”

Any little information offered on this matter via inbox or phone call can help the police in their investigation and help our Idoma land. May his soul rest in peace. 😢”
