Why Air Peace should be temporarily grounded (Opinion)

By: Ross Alabo George

Air Peace is an indigenous airline and so far, they have grown well as a business. However, there is something not right with their quality system. The company must strive to improve its safety and quality systems, and slow down on its push to expand and increase its fleet.

I think the airline should be grounded for a month, its quality and safety system reviewed and revamped. The company may need to submit to Lufthansa to maintain its aircrafts.

Just too many safety incidents — most near misses.

This latest one should be treated as a “crash”. Glory to God, there was no casualty. But I expect the ministry of aviation to act.
