The Nigeria police have explained why the National Commandant of the Peace Corps of Nigeria, Amb. Dickson Akoh was arrested.
Idoma Voice reports that some officials of from the DSS, Police and Army stormed the national headquarters of the peace corps and bundled away Akoh and 47 others.
Addressing the media on Wednesday, the police said Akoh was arrested over what it tagged as security threats to lives and property. More to come.
