The senator representing Kaduna Central District, Shehu Sani, has said the ongoing strike embarked on by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, may not end soon.
He said, the current president of the Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU), Prof. Emmanuel Osedeke, does not look like someone who wants the industrial action to end anytime soon.
Sani wrote on his Facebook wall “If you just look at the face of the current ASUU president, you will know that it’s not the type that quickly ends strike.”
IDOMA VOICE recalls that a warning strike commenced 14 February with 8 weeks and was later extended for another 12 weeks.
