Canada has revealed why it is betting big on immigration to fill gaps left by its ageing workforce. Like many western nations, the country has an aging population with a lower birth rate.
It was gathered that the move is to help boost the economy, the government has announced an aggressive plan to take in hundreds of thousands of migrants over the next few years.
Canada has historically had very high support for immigration but not everyone is supportive of the new plan.
