The Magistrate Court sitting at Eti-Osa has ordered the remand of Iwuagwu Patricia Ebere, also recognized as DJ Commissioner Wysei, to the Kirikiri Correctional facility until May 8, 2024. This decision comes after she was charged with assaulting police officers in Lagos.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the State Police Command, confirmed this development through his social media platform. Hundeyin specified that DJ Commissioner Wysei was remanded at Kirikiri Correctional Centre for the offenses of assaulting police officers, resisting arrest, and obstructing them in the execution of their duties.
He stated, “For assaulting police officers, resisting arrest, and obstructing police officers in the discharge of their duties, Iwuagwu Ebere, aged 29, popularly known as Commissioner DJ Wysei, has been remanded by the court in Kirikiri Correctional Facility until May 8, 2024. Additionally, her bouncers who aided and abetted her were remanded in Ikoyi Correctional Facility.”
