Question has been raised as to why the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, is yet to visit former Head of State, Gen. Yakubu Gowon (Rtd).
IDOMA VOICE observed that Obi has visited and consulted virtually every living former Nigerian President or Head of State, except Yakubu Gowon.
And Reno Omokri, an ally of former President Goodluck Jonathan is yet to find a justifiable reason for Obi’s action.
In a tweet, Omokri, who is a staunch critic of Obi, said Obi can’t claim Nigeria was ruined by past leaders and still goes to them for endorsement.
He said, “Peter Obi has visited EVERY living former Nigerian President, or Head of State for endorsement, except Gowon. Yet he claims that past leaders ruined Nigeria. Exactly which past leaders is Obi referring to? The same people he runs to for endorsements and blessings?”
