Why I don’t talk to Wizkid, Burna Boy – Davido [WATCH]

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, known by his stage name Davido, recently opened up about his relationship with fellow music stars Wizkid and Burna Boy. During an appearance on the American show Sway’s Universe, the ‘Unavailable’ artist shared that there is currently no communication between them.

When asked by host Sway if he and Wizkid and Burna Boy stay in touch, Davido shook his head, indicating a negative response. He also addressed the ongoing comparisons often drawn between himself, Wizkid, and Burna Boy.

Despite the widespread belief that the trio represents the pinnacle of Afrobeats on a global scale, Davido expressed a different view. He asserted that he considers himself the sole leading figure in the genre, distancing himself from the comparison.

During the interview, Davido revealed that both Wizkid and Burna Boy reached out to him last year when he tragically lost his first son, Ifeanyi, in a swimming pool accident.
