Why I joined Chelsea – Moises Caicedo

Moises Caicedo, the latest Chelsea signing has revealed the reasons behind his decision to join the Blues.

The 21-year-old midfield prodigy made waves with his £115 million transfer to Stamford Bridge. Caicedo’s commitment to his new home was further solidified with an unprecedented eight-year contract, entailing the tantalizing prospect of an additional year.

In an exclusive interview following his momentous signing, Caicedo drew back the curtain on his motivation, shining light on the figures that inspired him to take this monumental leap. “When I think of greatness in the midfield, my thoughts invariably gravitate toward the likes of Claude Makelele and N’Golo Kante,” Caicedo humbly confessed to Chelsea’s official platform.

“They weren’t just players; they were maestros on the field, orchestrating triumphs with humility and grace. As I stand at the threshold of my Chelsea journey, I recognize the echoes of our shared qualities. While they were undoubtedly superior, I am resolute in my commitment to give my all for this club, a club they’ve paved the way for,” Caicedo expressed with unwavering determination.
