Chelsea star Romelu Lukaku completed his move back to Inter Milan on loan for the rest of next season. The Belgian striker joined the Blues last summer but failed to live up to expectations at the Stamford Bridge.
After completing his move back to Inter, the Belgian reveals why he left Chelsea claiming his former teammates at Inter pushed him to comeback to the Milan side.
“I spoke to practically everyone (at Inter) . I thank them all, because I wanted to return here, but they also pushed for my comeback. I must thank them, because they are like a family: they are my brothers.”
“I’m back baby. I’m very happy. Remember three years ago when we were here? Good to be back. That’s what we are here for [to score lots of goals], I keep my promises, you know that. Thanks for having me. Forza, Inter!”
Romelu Lukaku on Inter Milan return: “It’s like coming home. I have been in contact with [Simone] Inzaghi all season.”
