Popular Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade, also known as Asake has disclosed that his choice to pursue a music career over dancing was motivated by his financial ambitions.
In a recent interview, Asake clarified that he opted for a music career because he was uncertain whether dancing alone could fulfill his financial aspirations.
“The reason I left dancing is simply for my love for money, to be perfectly honest. I have a deep passion for dance, but I wasn’t sure if it could provide the financial success I desired,” he explained.
Asake further elaborated, “Even if you want to make dancing more lucrative and gangster-like, you still need dancers to complement it. So, for the sake of financial gain, I chose to focus on singing.”
When questioned about whether he would consider returning to dancing if it offered substantial success, the singer responded, “No, I would combine both music and dance to maximize my earnings.”
