Why I left – Dr Paul Enenche opens up on why he ended his past associations with some people

Dr Paul Enenche of Dunamis Church, has shared some the deep, personal reasons behind his decision to end certain associations.

He revealed the shocking realities he encountered, where there was a complete lack of financial, marital, and family discipline—where even church money was misused without a second thought.

I will preach, Before this conference is over, there are people God should never allow your path to cross—people you must never meet because they neither belong to your past, your present, nor your future.

They can’t accommodate anything about you, and you don’t belong together. I met these people.

The relationship in the first place was an error. These were people with no discipline, no formal education.

The best among them was halfly educated, perhaps a secondary school dropout. The discipline of life—how you face life with discipline—was zero.

There was zero financial discipline; they didn’t differentiate between church money and God’s money.

A pastor’s wife could freely take church to the market to buy things.
Since this ministry started, the church’s checkbook has never been in my possession—not once. I never believed that church money belonged to the pastor. Any pastor who is eating the church money or taking the tithes needs to repent.

There was zero marital or family life discipline. You’d see a pastor’s wife shouting at her husband in front of everyone.

I questioned, ‘What is this? A different mindset, a different lifestyle, different focus, different principles of life—everything was different.’

ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, MOVE!
