There are different religious ministries under the body of Christ, these different churches have different doctrines in line with their calling and every member of each church is supposed to be a representative of the doctrine of the church he/she attends.
In Olukoya’s message for the 6th of December which was titled ‘The Masquerading Destroyer’, he emphasized on the lifestyle called hypocrisy.
He explained how hypocrisy can actually be a personal masquerading destroyer and how it is bad in Christianity as God hates people with such attitude. He said hypocrisy is acting to be who you aren’t and being pretentious. Satan loves hypocrites as they make his work easier since they can pretend to be good and not.
He gave two examples to show that Christians can be hypocrites, acting spiritual in church and otherwise when they aren’t in church. He shared how a member of the church who is a doctor came across a former member who shared why she stopped coming to the church with the doctor when they got talking.
Apparently, she was a new member and she had a fellow MFM member living in the same compound. On one occasion, the MFM member rained different shades of insults on her that made her say that she will not attend the church again since that is how their members behave.
He called such a member who discouraged another member a bad representative of the church and gave another example of he meeting a MFM member at the airport where he says he meets different members of the church.
She walked up to him and said “How are you sir? I am a member of your church and you are my spiritual father.” Olukoya immediately said “I reject you in the name of Jesus Christ, you are not my product and you are not one of us.”
What did she do? He said “she was putting on a wicked trouser that was showing her body, she was putting on a wicked chain that looked like that of a wrestler and the clothe she wore was revealing her belly button.
