Why I visited Tafawa Balewa’s tomb – Osinbajo

Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo visits the tomb of Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa during his visit to Bauchi state.

Osinbajo stated that he had to pay his respect as he visited the state of the former Prime Minister of Nigeria.

He stated, “At the tomb of Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, the first and only Prime Minister of Nigeria to pay respect as we visited Bauchi”.

Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa was the Nigeria First and only prime minister from 1957-1966. He was overthrown and killed on the 15th of January 1966.
