Why I was talking to cowries on reality show – Ilebaye

Ilebaye Odiniya, popularly known as Baye, the winner of Big Brother Naija All Stars, has shared the heartfelt reason behind her communication with cowries that she brought into the Big Brother house during the show.

The Kogi-born model disclosed this during an interview on Pulse’s “One On One,” which was hosted by fellow reality star Christy O. Baye addressed a claim made by CeeC regarding her interactions with cowries during her time in the Big Brother house.

Baye explained, “I had something precious to me. Because obviously, you are supposed to have something precious when you’re doing something that you miss at home.” She went on to clarify that the cowries were a connection to her late brother, who held great significance in her life.

She continued, “And the cowries were for my late brother. It has been with me, and even the baton. I have a baton on him too. I didn’t know where to keep it. I was just like, Oh! Let me hold something strong. It just helps me feel like he [my late brother] is around. He is still with me.”

Baye also expressed her disappointment upon learning about what CeeC had said about her cowries during her time in the Big Brother house.
