Lagos State Water Regulatory Commission (LASWARCO) has shut down Viju Industries Nigeria Limited in Ikeja Industrial Estate over failure to obtain the permit to use a Water Treatment Plant
According to the Director of Monitoring and Compliance Unit, Lanre Owoturo, in a statement over the weekend, the offence was among other undisclosed violations.
“LASWARCO is a Lagos State Regulatory Agency empowered by Law to enforce compliance.
The Commission will not watch companies operate illegally without obtaining all necessary documents to operate for the safety of citizens”, Owoturo said.
