The Management of Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc, AEDC, has provided an update regarding the power outage experienced in parts of the capital city. According to AEDC, the outage is due to ongoing repairs on the 33kV NIPP feeder.
This information was shared through an official statement posted on AEDC’s Twitter handle on Thursday.
The affected locations are as follows:

Byazhin Across
Gbazango
Military Pension Board
In addition, customers in the following areas are also affected:

AEDC assures customers that the outage in these areas is due to a fault on the 33kV Kubwa circuit breaker. The company sincerely regrets any inconvenience caused and assures customers that all relevant stakeholders are working diligently to restore power supply as soon as possible.
