Wife of popular Islamic scholar, ‘Alfa Nla’ is dead

Alhaja Aisha ‘Alfa Nla’, commonly called ‘Umu Subhanallah’, one of the wives of Sheikh Daud AbdulMajeed Alfa Nla Eleha is dead.

It was learnt that Alhaja Aisha, Alfa Nla’s last wife, died on Sunday evening.

The actual cause of her death as well as her age is unclear as of the time of publishing this report.

The deceased is expected to be buried later today, Monday, at Odota in Ilorin, Kwara state.

Sheikh Eleha is the proprietor of Markaz Nurul Islam, Isale Oja, Agege, Lagos.

He is a native of Ilorin, Kwara State. His genealogy can be traced to the popular Ibadi-ori compound, Pakata, Ilorin Kwara State. Sheikh Daud was nicknamed “Alfanla” at birth, and his father Sheikh Abdul-Majeed Muhammad Thani Adejumo Eleha, was said to have predicted that the child will go on to attest to his nickname in the future.

Condolence messages have been pouring in following the demise of Sheikh Eleha’s wife.
