Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has taken a final decision on speculation that he is planning to dump the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Following the outcome of the PDP presidential primary, which Wike lost to Atiku Abubakar, crisis broke out in the party, with Wike calling for the resignation of the PDP chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
Speaking on Friday at a media chat, Wike said he is not leaving the PDP.
Wike said it is only a coward that runs during a fight.
“I am not a coward. I am not leaving the PDP and not planning to defect. It is only a coward that sees a war and run.”
