Wilfred Ndidi set to join Nottingham Forest

Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, is gearing up for a triumphant return to the Premier League, as he readies himself to make a move to Nottingham Forest.

While initial summer rumors linked him to Bayern Munich, this fresh wave of transfer speculation appears to hold more substance, as it gains traction with the endorsement of renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who shared this development on Sunday.

Romano, a trusted source in the transfer world, highlighted that Ndidi has already reached an agreement with Forest, even though the two clubs are yet to finalize the terms of the transfer fee.

In a tweet, Romano revealed, “EXCLUSIVE: Nottingham Forest is preparing a bid for Wilfred Ndidi, and a proposal is expected to be submitted soon for the Nigerian defensive midfielder, who is their prime target.”

“Understanding that personal terms have been settled, negotiations between the clubs will now commence. Forest is determined to push for its realization.”

Having seen Leicester’s demotion in the prior season, Ndidi is presently showcasing his skills in the English Championship.

The 26-year-old will inject strength into the midfield and will shoulder the vital role of dismantling the opposition’s attacking initiatives through his precision interceptions and composed tackles.

Despite recurrent injuries that have kept him off the radar, Ndidi, donning the number 25 for Leicester, remains one of the league’s premier defensive midfielders.
