Williams Obande mourns APC Youth Leaders, extends condolences to Ogbadibo community

Chief Dr. Williams Obande Obeya and the New Direction Team have expressed profound grief over the tragic road accident that claimed the lives of APC youth leaders from Ogbadibo Local Government Area on their way to the Lafia North Central Zonal Congress.

In a statement released on behalf of Chief Obande, he extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased, the APC family in Ogbadibo, and the entire Benue State chapter of the party. He described the loss as a “painful blow not only to the immediate families of the deceased, but to the entire party and the people of Ogbadibo.”

The statement prayed for divine comfort for all those grieving, citing Matthew 5:4: “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”

Chief Obande and the New Direction Team also prayed for the quick and full recovery of all injured party members, asking God to grant them strength, healing, and restoration. He specially prayed for the families of the departed, invoking Psalm 34:18: “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart.”
