Witches, wizards predict winners of November 11 guber polls in Imo, Bayelsa, Kogi

In anticipation of the gubernatorial elections scheduled for November 11, a group of self-proclaimed witches and wizards in Nigeria, operating under the banner of White Witches and Wizards of Nigeria (WWAWAN), have made predictions regarding the electoral fate of certain candidates. According to Okhue Iboi, the spokesperson for WWAWAN, these candidates risk electoral defeat unless they heed their advice.

In Imo State, Iboi suggests that the real contest will be between the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Athan Achonu, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Samuel Anyanwu. Contrary to speculations that the incumbent Governor Hope Uzodimma would enjoy the benefits of incumbency, Iboi believes that Uzodimma is deeply unpopular among his constituents. This unpopularity is fueled by the perception that he was involved in the violence and property destruction that plagued the state, which has been attributed to unknown gunmen. WWAWAN calls for heightened security measures to prevent potential bloodshed during the election.

In Kogi State, WWAWAN predicts a contest between the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the PDP, citing Governor Yahaya Bello’s failure to field his deputy as his successor as a costly mistake. WWAWAN believes the SDP is as strong as the APC and PDP in the state and that Bello’s chances have been undermined by poor advice and strategies.

For Dino Melaye, a PDP candidate, WWAWAN suggests that his perceived arrogance may lead to his downfall. They claim to have invited him for strategic meetings but received no response. WWAWAN warns that his lack of humility may lead to unfavorable election results.

Regarding Bayelsa State, WWAWAN believes that the former governor, Timipre Sylva, will face significant challenges in the election. They previously predicted setbacks in Sylva’s candidacy for the ruling APC, and now they see him fighting to retain the party’s candidacy, with an uncertain future if he succeeds.

These predictions from WWAWAN are not based on any tangible evidence or methodology and should be taken with a grain of skepticism.
