Wizkid accidentally tosses £100,000 ring to fans

Grammy award-winning Nigerian musician, Ayodeji Balogun, known as Wizkid, made headlines when he unintentionally gifted his expensive ring to the crowd during his sold-out concert at Tottenham Stadium in London, UK, on a Saturday night.

As Wizkid energetically flung his jacket into the ecstatic audience, little did he know that his valuable ring would accompany the toss. The ring, reportedly worth a staggering £100,000 (equivalent to about N85 million), left fans and onlookers stunned at the unexpected turn of events.

Popular British-Nigerian podcaster, Adesope Olajide, who was in attendance, couldn’t believe his luck when the ring descended upon the crowd. However, he expressed a hint of regret for not being in the front row during the fateful moment. Adesope had previously managed to catch Zlatan Ibile and Diamond Platnumz’s rings at their respective concerts, making this missed opportunity even more bittersweet.

The incident has since become a talk of the town, further adding to the excitement and buzz surrounding Wizkid’s sensational performance at Tottenham Stadium. With his talent and generosity on full display, Wizkid continues to solidify his status as a beloved global icon in the music industry.
