Wizkid, Davido use controversy for publicity – Portable

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has asserted that his fellow artists Wizkid and Davido are leveraging their rivalry to maintain relevance in the music industry.

Portable suggested that the duo’s music is no longer as marketable, prompting them to resort to public disputes for promotion. He urged them to stop undermining each other for the sake of publicity.

Expressing his neutrality in the ongoing social media feud, Portable stated on his Instagram story: “Don’t use your brother to shine; shine yourself. Your songs aren’t selling anymore, so you’re using fights for promotion.

“Let’s move past fake promotions—I have hit songs. Portable is bigger than them. Whoever is big is big…

“I’m not siding with Davido or Wizkid. I stand for myself, and that’s why I support those who support me.”

DAILY POST reports that the conflict reignited when Wizkid began criticizing Davido on Tuesday night, calling him “wack” and talentless. This ongoing feud escalated on Wednesday, with Wizkid continuing to target Davido and his family, despite Davido not responding to the accusations.
