Women’s Int’l friendly: Nigeria to face Japan in October 6

Nigeria will face former World Champions Japan in a Women’s international friendly match in October the NFF has announced.

The test game scheduled for October 6, will be the fourth meeting between the two countries at senior level.
In a press statement, Monday, the Nigeria FA disclosed details of the game including the venue to be Noevir Stadium in Kobe.
Meanwhile, Super Falcons are currently preparing for their title defence in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
Head Coach Randy Waldrum will take charge of the 9-time African champions in his first major tournament, kicking off the campaign with a crunch game against South Africa (July 4).
The tournament gets underway on July 2 and will also double as the qualifiers to next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup.
