‘You are on your own’ – Idomas kick against appointment of Audu Ogbeh as Chairman, Arewa Consultative Forum

Former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbe, is currently at the receiving end of harsh criticism following his emergence as the chairman, Arewa Consultative Forum.

IDOMA VOICE reports that Chairman of the Leadership Selection Committee, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Wushishi and the Secretary, Malam Bukar Zarma, disclosed this in a statement in Kaduna.

According to the statement, the appointments were ratified and adopted after several hours of deliberations.

This appointment, however, did not go down well with some natives of Idoma, who faulted the Otukpa-born politician for accepting such appointment.

Some Idoma persons while reacting to the appointment insisted that Idoma is not part of Arewa community.

Iwodi Friday Okewu: A one million of Audu Ogbe cannot withstand a day baby born in idoma land what was his political influence or his voice in the land of idoma? Nothing, he will use his own head to carry it.

Young Michael: Can you name one project iniated by audu ogbe in benue state, he is only a self centred politician with no vision.

Joel Umoru: The funniest thing about this appointment is that they are giving it to a man who the people did not know he exist from where ever he claim he is coming from as a citizen of Nigeria.

This is one mistake we see in our political environment concerning appointment each time appointment is been announced. What will giving an Arewa Chairman to a man who could not win his polling unite in his ward influence or produce for the North.

It is high time our political figures should stop seeing politics as a family affairs and gathering of privilege few, just because they have opportunity in the time past to serve the country in one capacity or the other despite their failure they still continue to recycles themselves on the masses by force even when they are not fit for the position.

This is why they is problem and confusion in Nigeria and if care is not taken war is imminent in view, with the way Nigeria is going at the moment. I pray God help us as a nation to realize our mistake quickly before is too late.

Odeh Caleb Audu Ogbe: is an elder statesman, why should he accept such post, we are not Hausa, and Audu Ogbe cannot convince Benue to join them, wicked set of people, besides He doesn’t have mouth in Benue state.

Valx Godwin Ameh: Audu Ogbe even if they make you chairman of sheet transportation of Nigeria you will do because you’re too stingy and greedy. All the so called Idoma politicians are hungry men without vision. All they know is to eat bush meat and drink palm wine. This man should go and rest, he’s old and have nothing to offer. What’s Arewa chairman? Rubbish.

He shd be advised to kindly remove the Ogbeh in his name and let it be changed to Daura or makarfi and let wearing a mask cos we already know d one legged dressed as a masquerade.
