‘You can’t try your nonsense with any Muslim preacher and go scot-free’ – Islamic group tells Daddy Freeze

The United Muslims for Peace and Good Governance has sent a strong warning to On-Air personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, otherwise known as Daddy Freeze, over his constant attack on religious leaders in the country.

The group warned the social critic not to insult any Islamic cleric like he’s doing to pastors.

The group was reacting to the recent outburst by Daddy Freeze where he described Bishop David Oyedepo as a baldheaded fowl.

Freeze is known for insulting and calling pastors names.

Angered by his constant attacks and insults, the group said the media personality cannot try that with any Muslim cleric.

The group in a statement by its National President, Ibn Mohammed, said Freeze should learn how to respect those who are older than him.

“We have been watching with pain the constant attacks on religious leaders by a certain Daddy Freeze on social media.

“Inasmuch as we don’t know the religion he practices, we want to warn him not to dare insult any Islamic preacher because it won’t end well.

“The Quran says 11 times to be kind to elderly parents in particular; in fact, mistreating or showing disrespect to elders can result in being denied admission to paradise.

“We believe the religion of whoever he worships forbids disrespect and it would him good to get some senses so he doesn’t overstep his boundary.

“The Holy Prophet (SAW) says: He isn’t of us who isn’t kind to our youngsters, and shows no respect to our elders…”
