Chief Alhaji Eguma Abubakar Akor, father of famous politician, Usman Abubakar, otherwise known as Young Alhaji and five others escaped death after his Toyota Highlander went up in flame along the ever busy Otukpo-Otukpa road on Tuesday.
The incident happened around 1:50PM today along Otukpo-Ugbokolo Express way, precisely the junction close to Ojano Oglewu of Ohimini LG.
An eyewitness, Dan Edache said, the beaded Chief was on his way to Ogbadibo before the incident happened.
“He was saved along with Four others who were boarding with him. He lamented the absence of fire service men as all the fire extinguishers used could not put off the fire.,” he said.
