Your destination is our destination – Ogbadibo PDP Ward Chairmen, Secretaries Tell Senator Abba Moro

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chairmen and Secretaries of the 13 Council Wards in Ogbadibo LGA, today, paid a courtesy call on the Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District, Comrade Abba Moro, in his Ugbokolo residence.

Speaking on behalf of the Chairmen, Hon. Michael Agbo, from Orokam Ward 3, said they came to thank the Distinguished Senator for all his efforts aimed at improving the lives of the people of Benue South since his election and inauguration as a Senator.

Hon. Agbo said they were aware of all that the Senator has been doing in terms of human and infrastructural development. He said the Senator had made himself very accessible to his constituents and always available to celebrate and mourn with them.

“We are here to thank you profusely for all that you are doing. We see your works everywhere, works that are visible to the blind and audible to the deaf. In Ogbadibo, we see you every now and then, coming to celebrate and sympathize with us as occasion demands. You are doing well Sir and we are proud of you. As a forum, we are here to pledge our unalloyed support for you and to promise you that anywhere you go is where we go, and whatever you see is what we see. We will always stand with you. Thank you very much”, he said.

In his own remarks, the Chairman of the forum of Ward Secretaries, Hon. Godwin Adache, said they had no objection to what the Chairmen had stated. He said all the PDP Ward Secretaries in Ogbadibo would queue behind the Chairmen who had pledged to be with the Senator, a promise they said they would never fail to fulfil.

Responding, Senator Moro said he was impressed with the visit by the delegation. He said Ogbadibo and her people meant so much to him and that he would never abandon them.

The Comrade-Senator informed his guests that he had lobbied some very important projects such as rural electrification and roads rehabilitation for the LGA in the 2021 budget. He promised the delegation that the trust reposed in him would never be betrayed and assured them that since they had pledged to follow him, he would never lead them astray.
