YouTube has suspended U.S President, Donald Trump.
The site suspended the Trump for violating their policy.
The suspension came a week after Twitter permanently suspended his account for the capitol invasion.
The video-sharing platform in a statement on Tuesday said that a video uploaded to the President’s channel violated the site’s policy against inciting violence and which led to his account being suspended.
“After review, and in light of concerns about the ongoing potential for violence, we removed new content uploaded to Donald J. Trump’s channel for violating our policies.
“Donald Trump had his first strike and this will continue for the minimum of 7 days and he won’t be able to post or upload new contents on the sites.
“Given the ongoing concerns about violence, we will also be indefinitely disabling comments on President Trump’s channel, as we’ve done to other channels where there are safety concerns found in the comments section,” YouTube said in a statement.
The President was accused of using it for sedition.
