Davido made waves on social media when he clapped back at an Abuja-based barber and Wizkid fan, Callistus Okolie, known as @Kallystouch on Instagram, for labeling him as the third biggest musician in Nigeria.
Responding to Davido’s Dubai photos, Okolie commented, “The only 3rd man in the music industry 003.”
Unsatisfied with this characterization, Davido swiftly replied, admonishing Okolie for prioritizing social media over real connections. He expressed regret that Okolie had missed out on blessings by not engaging directly, citing instances where he had supported his previous barbers in establishing their own salons.
“My last three barbers, I opened shops for them. That is how you missed your generation’s blessing,” Davido added.
In a subsequent jab on Monday, Okolie, tweeting as @Kallystouch on X.com, shared a video showcasing his skills, suggesting that Davido had passed up the opportunity for a haircut from the best barber in Abuja.
“Davido just missed the opportunity to have a haircut from the best barber in Abuja,” he wrote.
