G12 Foundation, a paramount philanthropic and Non Governmental Organization (NGO) has admonished travelers and transport companies nation wide and beyond to avoid unnecessary rush this Christmas season in order to reduce the risk of experiencing superfluous danger.
Hon. Oche Joseph Gordon, the founder of G12 foundation in a statement made available to the Press at the organization’s head office in Otukpo exhort individuals and cooperate entities not to allow the anxiety of the festive season to influence them to jump on any bandwagon.
In his words: “As we begin to prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, let’s not forget to take our time to think straight. Times like this always require us to make a lot of significant decisions and also move from one place to another but i still want to use this medium to appeal and also urge us to be mindful and careful of our conduct because seasons like this always comes with joy but if not handled properly can end in sorrow when we fail to adhere to advise and precautions.
“Before you embark on any trip, please there’s a need for you to check if your vehicles are in order to avoid breakdowns on your way. Those of us using public transport to travel inter-state should please be very security conscious and use the various motor parks around and not stand on the way to avoid entering ‘one chance’ vehicles or falling for kidnappers or ritualists.
Hon. Oche went further to say that “in every thing we do now, let’s not forget to use every avenue to preach peace and demonstrate love amongst ourselves.
He crowned it up by saying that he wishes everyone a blissful Christmas celebration and a prosperous new year ahead.
