The Upu Spelling Bee competition organized by Ribble Vision Foundation, a Non Governmental and non profit oriented Organization on Thursday December 27th, 2018 stirred up primary and secondary school pupils in Otukpo.
The competition which featured over a hundred children which were grouped in three different categories have Omale Grace as the overall winner in the Prim. 4-6 category winning N15, 000 cash price while Akeh Mathias emerged as first runner-up winning N10, 000 and Samson Gift as second runner-up winning N5, 000.
In the Prim. 1-3 category, Ajeibi Joshua emerged as overall best Winning the sum of N10, 000 while Somto Chukwu and Ochapa David who had the same points bracket and were given N5, 000 cash prices each and certificate.
Amali Michael emerged overall best in the Secondary school category with Agochi Success and Peter Mary coming second and third respectively.
Hon. Emmanuel Acha, the Chief Executive of Ripple Vission foundation in his remark promise to ensure that the 2019 competition which will be the Organization’s second edition come out bigger and better as he extol members of his team for their effort in making the event a successful one.
