Fast-rising singer Portable has announced plans to carry out a community development project in his locality.
Portable made this known in an Instagram post where he shared a video and revealed that members of his community recently summoned him.
According to him, he woke up to see a letter from the community in front of the apartment he just secured requesting his assistance to renovate their roads.
The self-styled ‘wahala’ musician displayed a document outlining the road projects and their estimated sums.
The ‘Zazu’ crooner explained the community wanted him to pick just one project but revealed he will take care of all, adding the estimated sum is something he can comfortably afford.
He said: “I am a self-styled musician good morning, ladies and gentlemen I woke up to a letter in front of the house I just rented.
“They said they want to see ‘wahala’ musician. The community has brought a letter for me to renovate the road. And I will do it.
“How much is the estimated sum? It’s very little. They asked me to pick just one but I will do everything.”
Portable chided people who are rich yet do nothing to help their communities.
He said: “If you have money and can’t help your community, of what use it is?”
