The founder of Zugacoin, Bishop Sam Zuga, has criticized Benue State Governor Alia over his performance beyond healing, questioning his contributions to the state since assuming office.
Zuga claimed he supported Alia financially during the 2023 election, suggesting his involvement contributed to Alia’s victory.
Addressing the governor, Zuga remarked, “Why are you fighting everyone? From the day you took office, you’ve been embroiled in conflict.”
While Zuga emphasized his personal achievements, he insinuated that the governor’s success relied heavily on external support, warning of potential downfall if that support waned.
He challenged Alia’s track record, asking, “Apart from healing, what have you done for the people that qualified you to be Benue governor?”
In response, the governor’s spokesperson, Tersoo Kula, demanded evidence from Zuga to substantiate his claims. Kula warned of potential legal action if Zuga fails to provide receipts or other evidence of financial support.
