Social media ban: Bashir Ahmad, Lauretta Onochie, Tolu Ogunlesi to lose their jobs?

Following the move by the federal government to ban the use of social media in the country, there are speculations that some aides of President Buhari might be relieved of their duties.

IDOMA VOICE reports that the federal government had on Friday announced a total ban on the use of Twitter in Nigeria.

This followed the decision of the microblogging to delete a controversial tweet by the presidency.

Relatively, Facebook has deleted the video of the same post by the federal.

With this, a battle line has been drawn between the federal government and the new media.
Following the development, many Nigerians are asking if President Buhari will relief his new media aides of their duties.

Here are some new media aides that may lose their jobs once the law becomes effective.

Tolu Ogunlesi

Lauretta Onochie

Lauretta Onochie is popular on social media for her support for President Buhari’s administration.
She hails from Anioma Local Government Area of Delta State.
