The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has approved a continuous voters registration centre around the headquarters of Dunamis International Gospel Centre along the airport road Abuja.

The approval followed the request by the church to enable members and residents within the area obtain their Voters Cards ahead of the 2023 general elections.

The senior pastor of Dunamis, Dr Paul Enenche had earlier called on members of the church to obtain their PVCs so they can exercise their civic right in 2023.

When IDOMA VOICE visited the registration centre which is located in front of the Glory Dome main gate, there was a large turnout of people.

Some of the INEC ad hoc staff who spoke with our correspondent, expressed excitement at the level of turnout on the first day of the exercise at the new centre.

Some registrants also applauded the church for the initiative and advised those who are yet to get their PVCs to do so.

Pastor Enenche and his wife, Dr Becky Enenche during their separate visits to the centre, encouraged them to inform others to take advantage of the ongoing registration exercise to get their PVCs ahead of the 2023 polls.
