2027: We’ll deliver Benue South for Tinubu, Alia in 2027 – Ottah Agbo, Oglegba, others
Oglegba, Ottah Agbo, Ugwu Odo, Ogwuche, others pledge bloc votes for APC in Zone C
More than 200 stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue South Senatorial District have endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, for a second term ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was the highpoint of a critical stakeholders’ meeting held in Otukpo, where party leaders resolved to mobilise massive bloc votes for the APC in Zone C and urged members to remain united in pursuit of total victory in the next general election.
The meeting was attended by serving local government chairmen, members of the Benue State Executive Council, Special Advisers, party elders, youth leaders and the APC senatorial hopeful for Benue South, Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo.
Among the signatories to the communiqué issued after the meeting were the Commissioner for Finance, Chief Michael Oglegba; Commissioner for Water Resources, Engr. Ugwu Odo; Commissioner for Health, Dr. Paul Ogwuche; Chairman of Otukpo Local Government Council, Hon. Maxwell Ogiri; and Dr. Francis Ottah Agbo.
The stakeholders said their endorsement of Tinubu and Alia was based on what they described as purposeful leadership and the delivery of legacy projects across Benue State, particularly in Benue South.
They commended Governor Alia for the prompt payment of salaries, pensions and gratuities, as well as investments in infrastructure, including water projects, primary healthcare centres, rural electrification, and the reconstruction and rehabilitation of roads across the zone.
The leaders also praised the governor for appointing sons and daughters of Benue South into strategic positions in his administration.
Reaffirming their commitment to the APC, the stakeholders resolved to work for massive bloc votes for President Tinubu, Governor Alia and all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
They further called on party leaders and members across Benue South to remain united, hardworking and committed to ensuring the APC records victory “from bottom to top” in the next general election.
