Destiny Etiko sues Queeneth Hilbert over boyfriend snatching allegations

Nollywood actress Destiny Etiko has initiated legal proceedings against fellow actress Queeneth Hilbert, demanding that she retract a defamatory social media post.

IDOMA VOICE reports that Hilbert posted a video accusing Etiko of stealing her wealthy boyfriend and even threatened physical violence if Etiko were to visit Asaba, the capital of Delta State. The incident reportedly unfolded after Etiko unfollowed Hilbert online.

Hilbert further claimed that a series of betrayals had finally caught up with Etiko, forcing her to leave Asaba for Lagos out of fear. In her accusations, Hilbert alleged that Etiko not only took her boyfriend but also lured away the partners of other colleagues who finance their lavish lifestyles.

Responding on Instagram on Saturday, March 9, 2025, Destiny, through her legal team, demanded that Queeneth immediately retract the defamatory content from all social media platforms.

Destiny maintained that the allegations are entirely false and are intended to tarnish her reputation. She also urged Queeneth to desist from making any further discriminatory or defamatory statements. The legal notice stipulates that Queeneth must comply within 48 hours of receiving the letter, or else she will face legal action.
