APC has failed Enone people – Hon. Inalegwu Ejembi
Hon. Inalegwu Ejembi Adaje, a 2027 House of Representatives hopeful for Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadigbo Federal Constituency, has declared that the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government under Governor Hyacinth Alia has failed the people of Enone.
Ejembi lamented that despite the overwhelming support given to the APC during the last general elections in Enone, the constituency has been sidelined in governance, appointments, and developmental projects.
“It is quite unfortunate that after giving the APC massive support, the people of Enone have been completely abandoned. Governor Alia turned his back on us when it was time to carry our people along in development and appointments,” Ejembi stated.
Following months of consultations with stakeholders, Ejembi has now pitched his tent with the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Idoma Voice can report.
Recall that the ADC leadership had earlier extended an open invitation to Hon. Inalegwu Ejembi to join its fold ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence in his capacity to deliver credible representation.
Speaking with our correspondent, Ejembi explained that his decision to embrace the ADC was borne out of his desire to provide better leadership and bring meaningful development to the people of Enone.
“Our people deserve better. Enone has been left behind for too long, and we cannot continue to play second fiddle in our own state. The ADC provides a credible platform to actualize the change and development our people have long yearned for.”
“This move is not about personal ambition alone but about giving my people a voice, a platform, and the representation they deserve at the national level,” he added.
Ejembi is expected to formally announce his defection to the ADC any moment from now a move that is already generating excitement among supporters across Ado, Okpokwu, and Ogbadigbo Federal Constituency ahead of the 2027 elections, where he is seeking to represent the constituency at the National Assembly.
