Benue South 2027: APC senatorial aspirant, Prince Onuh embarks on grassroots engagement in Zone C

Benue South Senatorial District is witnessing early political activity ahead of the 2027 general elections as APC senatorial aspirant in Benue South, Dr. Onuh Samuel Odoh Prince, is set to commence a Phase One Familiarisation and Consultation Tour across Zone C.

The tour is aimed at connecting with constituents, listening to their concerns, and sharing his vision for a prosperous Benue South. Dr. Prince will engage traditional councils, elders, APC local government and ward executives, as well as women and youth organizations during the outreach.

Spanning from December 10 to December 20, 2025, the outreach will cover Agatu, Apa, Ohimini, Oju, Obii, Ado, Okpokwu, Ogbadibo, and Otukpo local government areas. During the visits, the aspirant will engage with traditional councils, elders, APC executives, and women and youth organizations.

In a statement, the Oyalewa Obilekpa Campaign Organisation said the exercise is designed to strengthen grassroots participation and ensure that the voices of constituents play a central role in shaping leadership for the district.

Comrade Ben Idoko, spokesperson of the campaign, urged all party members and well-wishers to actively participate, describing the tour as “pivotal in shaping a brighter future for Zone C and the APC.”

The itinerary for the tour is as follows:

• Agatu LGA – Wednesday, 10 December 2025, 10:00 a.m.

• Apa LGA – Thursday, 11 December 2025, 10:00 a.m.

• Ohimini LGA – Friday, 12 December 2025, 11:00 a.m.

• Oju LGA – Saturday, 13 December 2025, 11:00 a.m.

• Obii LGA – Monday, 15 December 2025, 10:00 a.m.

• Ado LGA – Tuesday, 16 December 2025, 10:00 a.m.

• Okpokwu LGA – Wednesday, 17 December 2025, 10:00 a.m.

• Ogbadibo LGA – Thursday, 18 December 2025, 10:00 a.m.

• Otukpo LGA – Friday, 20 December 2025, 10:00 a.m.
