Arsenal confirm two player deals ahead of Leeds clash
Arsenal have confirmed contract-related developments involving two players as preparations continue for their Premier League encounter with Leeds United on Saturday.
In an update published on their official website on Friday, the North London club disclosed that highly rated youngster Max Dowman has agreed to a pre-contract arrangement.
The deal will see the teenager sign his first professional contract with the club when he turns 17 in December.
Dowman has been part of Arsenal’s academy system since joining at the age of eight and has consistently impressed at Hale End, setting records across various youth levels.
Comfortable operating as either an attacking midfielder or a winger, he is known for his creativity, technical quality and adaptability, qualities that have marked him out as one of England’s brightest emerging talents.
In a separate announcement, Arsenal also confirmed that defender Maldini Kacurri has completed a permanent move to League Two outfit Grimsby Town.
Kacurri arrived at Arsenal in 2022 and signed his maiden professional contract with the club in June 2024.
The 20-year-old recently returned from a productive loan spell at National League side Morecambe before sealing his exit from the Emirates.
