The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Benue State Chapter, has suspended its State Publicity Secretary, Hon. Tim Nyor, over alleged misconduct and breach of party rules.

In a statement issued by the State Secretary, Comrade Dan Nyikwagh, the party said the decision was taken during a meeting of the State Working Committee (SWC) held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the party’s State Secretariat in Makurdi.

The suspension, according to the statement, followed allegations of gross violation of the party’s laid-down principles, acts of insubordination, and anti-party activities.

The statement noted that the action was in line with Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017, as amended).

It added that the suspension takes immediate effect and will last for one month, pending the conclusion of investigations and any further decisions to be taken in accordance with the party’s constitutional provisions.

During the suspension period, Hon. Nyor is barred from participating in any party activities at all levels.

The SWC reiterated its commitment to discipline, internal democracy, and strict adherence to the party’s constitution.
