Gen. Garuba, Lawani, Agbese, Ojebo, Adejoh, Others Celebrate Friday Iwodi, Twin Sister At Birthday, Housewarming In Abuja
It was a grand gathering of notable personalities from across Idoma land on Saturday in Abuja, as real estate mogul and philanthropist, Friday Adogo Iwodi, alongside his twin sister, Mrs. Magajiya Iwodi-Adakole, celebrated their birthday and housewarming ceremony.
The colourful event drew friends, family members and associates from political, business and religious circles.
Proceedings began with a thanksgiving Mass, where the officiating priest expressed gratitude to God for preserving the lives of the twins.
He urged them to see their new age as a divine opportunity to deepen their service to God and humanity.
He also prayed for continued guidance, protection, and greater accomplishments in their lives.
Speaking with journalists, the chief celebrant, Friday Adogo Iwodi, expressed deep gratitude to God for His faithfulness.
“I return all the glory to God Almighty for the gift of life. Coming to Abuja years ago, I had almost nothing, but through hard work, focus and God’s grace, I have been able to build something meaningful for myself. This house is a testament to what God can do,” he said.
Iwodi added that every material blessing he enjoys today is a product of divine favour and perseverance.
On her part, his twin sister, Mrs. Magajiya Iwodi-Adakole, also appreciated God for sustaining their lives.
“God has been incredibly faithful to us. Celebrating another year is not by our power, but by His grace. I believe this new phase of our lives will usher in greater blessings and new beginnings,” she said.
She further thanked God for her brother’s achievements and prayed for continued prosperity and good health.
“I am grateful to God for what He has done in my brother’s life. I pray He keeps us alive to enjoy His goodness and greater testimonies ahead,” she added.
In a separate interview with IDOMA TV, former Military Governor of Bauchi State, Chris Garuba, commended Iwodi for embodying the resilient “Otukpa spirit.”
“This young man has demonstrated what determination and hard work can achieve. He has done well for himself, and I encourage him not to be carried away by success but to continue using his blessings to impact lives positively,” he stated.
Also speaking, the member representing Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Philip Agbese, urged the celebrant to remain steadfast and committed to hard work.
“God blesses a cheerful giver. I encourage him not to relent in his efforts. There is dignity in labour, and I pray that this new year will usher in greater blessings for him and his sister,” Agbese said.
Other dignitaries at the event included former Deputy Governor of Benue State, Steven Lawani; Chief Sylvanus Ameh; Ojebi Idoma; Chris Adaba Abah (MadLion); Prince Samuel Onuh; Chief Patrick Enemari; Chief Owoicho Ameh; the Clan Head of Ijadoga, Chief Sunday Ogbeche; Hon.
