She said the successful completion of the nomination process marks the beginning of a new phase of engagement with the electorate, assuring constituents that she is fully prepared for the task ahead.
“We’re ready for the task ahead. The journey has truly begun, and I remain committed to providing purposeful, inclusive and people-centred representation for our constituency,” she said.
The NDP candidate thanked party leaders, members and supporters for their steadfast encouragement and confidence in her aspiration, urging them to remain united as preparations for the election gather momentum.
She also pledged to run an issue-based campaign focused on addressing the developmental needs of the constituency, including youth empowerment, improved education, healthcare, infrastructure and economic opportunities.
Ikwue called on residents of Otukpo and Ohimini local government areas to continue supporting her vision of effective representation, saying the campaign would be driven by the collective desire to improve the lives of the people.
