Ado 2020: Oche Flags-off Chairmanship Campaign, gets endorsed by Hon. Francis Agbo, Ijigban Community, Forum for Ward Chairmen, Statutory Delegates
James Oche, a frontline aspirant for the number one seat in Ado Local Government Area of Benue State in the March 2020 election has received a massive boost of what many may described as the icing on the cake that would concretize his smooth sail to victory, as he became the subject of series of endorsements and support yesterday.
The serving Caretaker Chairman who had set out to celebrate the New Year in hometown of Apa-Agila had a brief stop-over where the people of Ijigban were celebrating their son, Hon. Francis Otta Agbo, the House of Representatives Member for Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency.
At the event, Hon. James Oche was unanimously endorsed by the Ijigban people. Conveying the unequivocal endorsement, Hon. Francis Otta cited outstanding performance as the justification for Oche’s endorsement. Chief Christopher Onumah, the District Head of Ijigban who was in complete affirmation of the process said it was only fair to permit Oche complete the good works he had started.
Arriving his hometown of Apa-Agila, Oche was well received by hundreds as other endorsement dolled out to the shock of many. The Forum of Ward Chairmen and Statutory delegates endorsed Oche as sole candidate to lead Ado as Chairman. Speaking, Christopher Ede, the Chairman of the Forum and Ward Chairman of Ijigban remarked that, Oche was too precious to be let go of and said it was imperative for them to charge him to run for the election as substantive chairman. The Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ado, Hon. Ominyi Otse took the same view.
Oche yesterday flagged of his Campaign with the theme “Consolidation” and explained that, the idea was rooted in the determination to add to the efforts he and his team had made as Caretaker Chairman. This obviously received the nod of many who said it was fair to let him concretize the good works he had started.
