Tears as Benue Catholic loses Father Philip Sember Utile

The Catholic Diocese of Makurdi announces the death of Father Philip Sember Utile. Born June 17, 1986, ordained a priest July 22, 2017 and died April 4, 2020 at Bishop Murray Medical Center, Makurdi.

Until his death, Father Utile was the priest in charge of St Martin’s Mission, Abenga.

Wake in his honour is to hold on Monday, April 20, 2020 and burial on April 21, 2020 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral, Makurdi.
May the soul of the late Father Utile and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God rest in peace!
