EPL: Man Utd hammers Southampton 9-0 to equal Leicester record

Manchester United on Tuesday, equalled a Premier League record for the largest margin of victory, with a 9-0 crushing of Southampton.

Thanks to goals from Aaron Wan-Bissaka (1), Marcus Rashford (1), Edinson Cavani (1), Anthony Martial (2), McTominay (1), Bruno Fernandes (1), Daniel James (1), and a own goal from Jan Bednarek.

United has now equalled Leicester City 9-0 record victory over Southampton.

The game started on a negative note for Southampton after Alexandre Jankewitz was shown a straight red card for an ugly challenge on Scott McTominay after only two minutes.

Armed with a man advantage, United scored four in the first half, and added five more in the second half.
